Rainbows became a symbol during the COVID-19 pandemic, signs of hope, solidarity and a thank you to essential workers. The rainbows spread optimism and joy throughout communities worldwide. Colorful artworks, drawings and finger paintings displayed in windows, chalk drawings on driveways and sidewalks and beautifully crafted balloon swags decorated homes. Seeing these beautiful visuals gave us all comfort and connected peoples spirits. Self-isolation may be at times hard, many people discovered it was a time to slow down to pause and reflect. When the storm passes, at the end of a rainbow, better days will return.
