I created this artwork “Vaccines 4 Victory“ inspired by the French Revolution painting „Liberty Leading the People“ by Eugène Delacroix as we can reclaim our freedom with rising vaccination levels. As a female hero I chose a black woman resembling Yaa Asantewaa who courageously was leading the Ashanti rebellion against British colonialism. Both figures are surrounded by a diverse crowd celebrating the regain of our freedom thanks to vaccinations. I hope you enjoy this painting made with love! Jessica
