I tried to combine modern issues with a tinge (or perhaps, more?) of satire in my political collage piece. I tried to depict American division through my usage images of the southern border wall. One very humorous aspect of my piece is the presence of Donald Trump with a “thumbs up” at the helm of a hellish subway car, and the grim reaper covering his eyes in front of it. There is a lot of contrast between the images on either side of the wall, with policemen brandishing guns and clubs on one side and a person meditating on the other.
