The year 2020 has been an interesting one, mostly because of a respiratory virus that is so dangerous that we have been forced to stay inside our homes and social distance. I have felt trapped inside my home while outside, this virus lurks in the air, waiting for another target. Because of this, life is now continuing in our homes, with online school, working from home, and zoom meetings for everything. With each day that blurs by, I sometimes will find no urge or purpose in doing my homework for school. Sometimes, I just want to not listen to the safety rules and run outside with no mask on. Sometimes, I just want to see my extended family, even if it is risky. And I’m sure that many of you feel like you are going insane during this pandemic that has affected so many. I feel that I am in pursuit of my sanity, wondering, “When will this end?”
