Women’s Rights are Humans Rights
For centuries, women have been dehumanized by men. Social constructs created by men have been challenged throughout history as women fight for equal, human rights. After decades of a truculent and constant battle, women won their right to vote in 1920. Even today, women are still fighting for their equality. They will not let their second-class treatment go unheard of. Harmful stereotypes that portray women as inferior to men continue to enforce the subtle ways that they are suppressed. Throughout history, women innovators have been silenced, and replaced by their male counterparts. In the image above you see 3 women, my aunts and my mom, who are the most powerful women in my life. They continue to prove that a woman's place in society isn't dependent on their family or men.
